The Long Horizon is the first book of the City of Nor series, a new cycle set in the world of Shine of the Moon

Mist has a good life.

She has a small house, a garden she loves, cats who sleep in the sun. Noth in is wrong, and yet, something is missing. Restless and uncertain, Mist leaves home and travels north across oceans and islands changed by time and climate.

Along the way she hears rumours of forgotten lands and of people who may still have survived beyond the boiling equatorial seas.

Setting aside comfort and certainty, Mist begins a journey few would dare, towards distant horizons and a world that may be far stranger and more dangerous than anyone remembers.
