Sergeant Moses Rayker - one of DC Thomson's most unforgettable creations - returns in this explosive graphic novel collection. First introduced in Warlord in 1979, Rayker became a breakout favourite thanks to his fierce moral code and refusal to tolerate prejudice from either Axis or Allied forces. His adventures ran through weekly issues, annuals and specials until 1984... and then the legend roared back in 2025 in Commando, Britain's longest running war comic.
Now, for the first time, Rayker's first two rebooted Commando stories are blown up to full graphic novel size, presented with dynamic artwork that showcases every punch, clash and narrow escape.
In 1944, Rayker and his squad must cross the Italian mountains during a daring escape - only to find a familiar face in their path: Buford "Bubba" Ballard, a man with a grudge that goes back long before the war. Rayker knows his duty is to bring Ballard home safely... but can the two men keep their cool long enough to survive German checkpoints, hostile terrain and each other?
Read Rayker's legacy reboot alongside the first eleven issues of the original comic pages in Warlord, classic covers and a behind the scenes look at how the new issues were created.
Perfect for fans of war graphic novels and classic British comics, Commando Presents: Rayker delivers action fast and furious and a true icon of the genre.
