In 2054, mankind has plunged the Earth into chaos and is on the brink of environmental collapse. One day, a strange object appears from the sky, crashing and releasing a gas that turns people into ravaging monsters with the one goal of killing humans. After witnessing her life crumble apart before her eyes, 16 year old Cyrus, along with her remaining friends must do what they can to survive, not only these blood-thirsty creatures, but the planet beneath them with an equally terrifying bloodlust.
