For village milkman Vikinder Singh ("Milky" to the residents of Crafton Hill), everyday is a roundhouse kick to his self-esteem. He gets screamed at in the street by a racist old lady, people steal from his milk float and the new supermarket is taking his customers.
The best part of Milky's day is delivering a bottle of semi-skimmed to pharmacist Lucy Bell. If only he could tell her how he really felt...
But on the morning he decides to do exactly that, Lucy and the village women are abducted by friggin' scary aliens.
After he unwittingly kills two of the creatures, the remaining villagers turn to Milky for leadership. With the help of his aloof boy-genius neighbour Ghost, the reluctant hero mounts a rescue...
Milky is a full-colour, six-issue tale of fear and prejudice, packed with humour, emotional drama and a huge climactic battle that sees a humble milkman overcome his anxiety and stand up to galactic injustice. It's a story for mature readers who like their social commentary with a splash of underdog hero, exploding alien skulls and one foul-mouthed old bitch with a shotgun...
