It's party time and everyone's favorite #1 New York Times bestselling Grumpy Monkey is not exactly in a partying mood... Have you ever been a little anxious about going to a party? Jim Panzee feels that. Porcupine is having a big party, there will be--gulp--dancing. Jim can DEFINITELY not dance. When he tells his friends, they all try to teach him cool moves--surely that's the reason Jim isn't excited!
On the dance floor at the party, Jim is dipped, swayed, and twirled until he can't take it anymore--he just doesn't like to dance! His friends can't believe what they're hearing. Then Water Buffalo reveals that he doesn't much care to dance, either. Marabou admits to always feeling silly on the dance floor. Maybe a party is just not the place for them? Or ... maybe there's more than one way to have fun at a party!
In this hilarious follow-up to GRUMPY MONKEY, Jim shows it's okay
not to go with the flow if you don't want to, and that speaking up about what you need might help others speak up, too. With its sparkly party hat on the cover and double-gatefold conga line,
Party Time! is the perfect party gift!
