GJ the Earth Explorer: I want to be a panda

Drawn to a glowing portal, GJ, an impulsive young dog, travels from the remote Kimberley region of Australia to China. There he meets a panda named Ying Yue, who becomes his tour guide and new obsession.
This is a colourful, magical realism adventure for young readers and the young at heart, with fun, food, facts and difficult lessons about friendship and self perception.
The comic book style comprises pages of varying levels of difficulty to encourage confidence, vocabulary building and serves as a precursor to enjoying more complex comics and graphic novels.
