- Lesly Julien (SAVAGE WIZARD and HEADCASES)
Dino Knights is an unapologetically wild science fiction fantasy series that collides Arthurian legend, time travel, dinosaurs, and killer robots into a single, high-energy narrative. It wants to wear its influences proudly, channeling Saturday morning cartoons, pulp sci-fi, and classic genre comics while still delivering sharp pacing, humor, and emotional stakes.
It's hard to explain to someone who wasn't as invested in Saturday morning cartoons the way most children in the '90s were, but its genuinely a project made with so much passion from that era. Issues 5 and 6 close the first arc with a full-throttle finale, capped by an oversized final issue that leans into spectacle without losing character focus. The series balances absurd fun with thoughtful storytelling, pairing bold visuals with momentum.
For readers who love genre mashups, indie comics with personality, and stories that know how to stick the landing, Dino Knights offers a complete, satisfying arc that invites you to jump in and enjoy the ride.
