She immediately gets involved: these previously extinct animals naturally transform waterways in ways that can prevent future flooding. But change is scary, and not everyone in the community is on board.

Author Biography

Before she could walk, Gill Lewis was discovered force-feeding bread to a sick hedgehog under the rose bushes. Now her stories reflect her passion for wild animals in wild places. She draws inspiration from the many people and animals she has met during her work and travels as a vet, both at home and abroad. She lives in England.
